Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Depart Arusha after early breakfast (7:00 AM) for Tarangire National Park (2-hour drive). Famous for its giant elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers exceptional game viewing year-round. Full day game drive with picnic lunch. Over 550 bird species recorded. Drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater - Full Day
After early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing. This UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's Seven Natural Wonders hosts over 25,000 animals including all Big Five. High chances of spotting the endangered black rhino. Picnic lunch on the crater floor. Ascend in late afternoon and return to Karatu lodge.
Day 3: Lake Manyara to Arusha
Morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for tree-climbing lions, huge elephant herds, and pink flamingos along the alkaline lake. The park packs incredible biodiversity into a small area. After lunch, drive back to Arusha arriving mid-afternoon. Drop off at your hotel or airport.
